Airtronics donation helps K9 officer get new canine partner
After his German Shepherd partner, Jim, suffered a career-ending injury last year, San Jose Police Officer Brett Myers visited Airtronics seeking a contribution toward the purchase of a new dog. The SJPD requires K9 officers to finance their own dog and training costs, which total about $15,000-$16,000. Airtronics was happy to make a contribution.

No longer confined to hot dogs and tacos, today’s street food chefs offer epicurean adventures from crème brulee to duck confit crostinis. As Chefs bring more ethnic and exotic foods to the streets, they are demanding upgrades to the traditional mobile food facilities.
“A plant tour is the next best thing to hands-on learning,” said Hee Man Bae, mechanical engineering professor at San Jose State University, after he and his Computer-Integrated Manufacturing class toured Airtronics’ 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
